Got some Zesty Lemon fresheners for my sons footy boots. How do you put this delicately...they stunk! His bag, his bedroom, the laundry.. wherever the boots were, it was aromatic. I have a teenage son (16) and teenage daughter (17) that both play AFL in school academies, club teams and representative teams, so their footy boots get a constant workout. For years, no sprays, powders, ball inserts or washing has helped get rid of the smell. But these really do! I started with a set each to test them out, and their footy boots are placed on the exterior (undercover) window sill and I can smell the really nice sandalwood (my favourite) and ocean scents in the house with absolutely no smell of the acidic, ammonia smell that would previously come from their boots. I’ve already bought another set for the second pairs of boots and recommend these to anyone with sports footwear - these are terrific!
