These fresheners work great in my shoes. Not so good in my 11 year old grandsons soccer shoes.
His shoes are so bad, I put them outside on the enclosed porch in the sunshine. The porch stinks for 2 days afterwards.

Have been looking for something what actually works and eliminates odor in soccer cleats. Believe when I say have tried many different products and methods. These truly work and since I got multiple pairs we have not had a change to use the recharge method yet but excited for fact that these can be used over and over again. Aroma is excellent. Not too much or too little. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone struggling with sports equipment odor. It does actually eliminate it not just cover it up. I am very happy with it does what it claims to do and my laundry room does not stink from soccer cleats.
